Make the document answer editorial questions
A producer usually wants to find a useful account, compare answers, or decide which story points are covered. A wall of uninterrupted text makes that harder. Use a heading per source and sensible paragraph breaks, with time references close enough to return to the relevant passage.
In an illustrative three-interview project, one source explains the original problem, another describes the process, and a third offers the outcome. Keep their contributions separate in the transcript even if the final video will intercut them. The document should make comparison easy without blending speakers into a single invented narrative.
Choose readable names and useful context
Replace anonymous speaker labels with names you can confirm. Distinguish an interviewer from the featured subject, and retain the question when it changes the meaning of the answer. A one-word “yes” is not useful evidence when the reader cannot see what was asked.
Flag unclear words instead of turning them into confident prose. Product names, dates, and numbers often deserve a quick listen before the document reaches a producer. A corrected transcript is still a representation of the source; avoid rewriting a hesitant answer into a more assertive statement.
Prepare the transcript in Wideframe

For the illustrative project, a producer might mark one answer as the opening problem and another as evidence for the result. That is useful editorial direction. A pasted paragraph assembled from three interviews without attribution is much harder to convert into an honest cut.
Return to the performance when building the edit
The transcript reveals language, but it does not show all of the delivery. Listen to selected passages for hesitation, interruption, humor, and emphasis. A sentence that reads perfectly may be visually awkward; a less polished answer may carry the strongest feeling.
Keep the producer’s source-linked choices alongside the project so the next revision can return to alternatives.
